Yılmaz Stunner Sparks Galatasaray’s 3-1 Comeback

Galatasaray 3-1 Kasımpaşa: Süper Lig Drama Unfolds

Galatasaray overcame Lucas Torreira’s red card with two late goals from Barış Yılmaz and Mario Lemina to defeat Kasımpaşa 3-1 in a firecracker Süper Lig encounter. The game swung on a knife-edge after Rak-Sakyi’s equaliser against 10 men, only for the champions to find legendary resolve.

Kasımpaşa Resist Early Galatasaray Storm

Galatasaray’s relentless pressure told just before half-time when Abdülkerim Bardakcı powered home Aleksey Batrakov’s cross (45′), but the hosts’ discipline frayed with Torreira’s reckless 65th-minute lunge earning a straight red. When Jesurun Rak-Sakyi slammed home from close range (68′), Kasımpaşa smelled blood with Galatasaray rocking.

Galatasaray’s Wounded Pride Ignites

But this is a side forged in fire. Viktor Osimhen, introduced from the bench, carved open Kasımpaşa’s tiring backline to assist both late strikes – Yılmaz’s vicious 90th-minute curler breaking Turkish hearts before Lemina’s composed finish (90+6′) shattered them. The xG gap (2.40 to 0.51) told the true story of Galatasaray’s 63% dominance.

Süper Lig Implications

This was Galatasaray’s statement – even when wounded, they fight until the last breath. For Kasımpaşa, four yellows and defensive fatigue proved costly after a battling display. The champions march on reinvigorated; the visitors left to wonder what might have been with 11 men.
