Reijnders Terrorizes Riyadh as Al-Qadisiyah Smash 6-0

Pro League Glory and Agony in 90 Ruthless Minutes

Al-Qadisiyah FC eviscerated Al Riyadh 6-0 in a Pro League massacre, scripting one of the season’s most brutal demolition jobs through Tijjani Reijnders’ first-half thunderbolt and second-half exhibition.

The annihilation began in the 18th minute when Reijnders, unshackled by timid defending, lashed home from 20 yards past a statuesque Milan Borjan. The floodgates creaked open, then collapsed entirely when Abdullah Al-Salem doubled the lead just before half-time, pouncing on Julián Quiñones’ cutback.

Al Riyadh’s Resistance Crumbles

For all Borjan’s heroics – the veteran keeper made 10 saves before the hour mark – Riyadh’s defence folded like origami. Bernard Mensah’s needless yellow card epitomised their disintegration, hacking down Al-Salem in frustration.

Reijnders returned after the break with murderous intent. His 56th-minute strike, again assisted by the ever-menacing Quiñones, left Borjan grasping at ghosts. Seven minutes later, substitute Mahamadou Sangaré’s first touch was a dagger into Riyadh’s ribs, with Reijnders this time turning provider.

Al-Qadisiyah’s Relentless Punishment

The final quarter-hour became a public flogging. Quiñones grabbed his deserved goal in the 87th minute, before Reijnders completed his hat-trick two minutes later with a guided missile into the top corner. The stats painted a gruesome picture: 27 shots, 55% possession, 5.13 xG.

For Riyadh, shell-shocked and statuesque, the walk to the tunnel felt like a funeral march. Maurício Dulac’s side must now pick psychological splinters from this wreckage ahead of their next Pro League test. Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers’ Al-Qadisiyah machine purrs ominously – Reijnders’ trio of goals catapulting him into the Golden Boot conversation as the title race heats up.
