De Bruyne Dazzles as Belgium Crush Türkiye 3-0

Belgium 3-0 Türkiye: Devils Dominate in Nations League Clash

Belgium delivered a statement performance with a commanding 3-0 victory over Türkiye in their UEFA Nations League League A encounter, powered by Kevin De Bruyne’s brilliance.

Belgium’s Early Onslaught Sets the Tone

The Red Devils struck first in the 10th minute when De Bruyne finished clinically after Dodi Lukebakio’s assist, silencing the Turkish fans. The Manchester City maestro’s early goal set the tempo for Belgium’s dominance, with Türkiye struggling to cope with their ruthless efficiency. Yellow cards for Lukebakio (26′) and Youri Tielemans (30′) showed Belgium’s combative edge, but Türkiye’s first-half substitution of Baris Alper Yilmaz for Yunus Akgün (45′) failed to turn the tide.

De Bruyne and Lukaku Seal Türkiye’s Fate

De Bruyne struck again in the 59th minute, this time assisted by Tielemans, doubling Belgium’s lead and showcasing his peerless vision. Türkiye’s frustration grew as Abdulkerim Bardakçı earned a yellow card (56′), and Romelu Lukaku came off the bench to rub salt in the wounds with Belgium’s third in the 76th minute, assisted by Charles De Ketelaere. Türkiye’s Merih Demiral (71′) and Arda Güler (90+2′) picked up late yellows in a match that slipped further from their grasp with each passing minute.

What This Means for Belgium and Türkiye

Belgium’s 54% possession and 17 total shots (10 on target) underlined their control, while Türkiye’s 23 attempts (8 on goal) told a story of wasted opportunities. For the Red Devils, this statement win reasserts their credentials as Nations League contenders. Türkiye, meanwhile, must regroup after a deflating night where yellow cards and substitutions couldn’t spark a revival. With the Nations League group stage heating up, Belgium march forward with momentum, while Türkiye face serious questions.
