Widad Témara Demolish Moghreb Tetouan 3-0 in Botola Pro Masterclass
Widad Témara delivered a ruthless away performance to thrash Moghreb Tetouan 3-0 in their Botola Pro round 5 clash, with Abdallah Cherrad, Akram Khouidsi and Othman Sabri all finding the net in a devastating 22-minute second-half blitz. The result leaves Tetouan’s defence in tatters and announces Témara as serious top-flight contenders.
Moghreb Tetouan’s Resolve Crumbles Under Pressure
The hosts started brightly but faded alarmingly after Eddine Diae Eddaoudi’s 11th-minute booking set the tone for a nervy defensive display. Tetouan’s 46% possession told the story of a side chasing shadows once Témara’s midfield machine clicked into gear. Coach El Karma’s quadruple substitution between the 65th and 77th minutes screamed desperation as his backline hemorrhaged chances – Témara racking up 12 shots on target to Tetouan’s meagre 4.
Widad Témara’s Killer Instinct Seals the Deal
The deadlock shattered on 59 minutes when Zakaria Oulbenna picked out Abdallah Cherrad to hammer home. The floodgates burst just three minutes later as Zakaria Labib teed up Akram Khouidsi for 2-0. Témara smelled blood, Othman Sabri rubbing salt in wounds with an 81st-minute strike. Two yellow cards couldn’t dampen their dominance – their 54% possession and 14 total shots showcasing a midfield masterclass.
What This Botola Pro Result Means for Both Sides
For Widad Témara, this statement win propels them up the table with momentum to burn. But Moghreb Tetouan face soul-searching – their porous defence conceding three at home demands urgent surgery. When these sides next meet, the psychological scars of this demolition may prove harder to heal than the scoreline suggests.
