FAR Rabat edge shot quality despite Agadir fightback
The 2-2 draw between Hassania Agadir and FAR Rabat was a fair reflection of the balance of play, with Rabat marginally edging the quality of chances. FAR Rabat registered 5 shots on target (out of 8 total) compared to Agadir's 3 (from 7), suggesting they were more precise in their attacking play despite only holding 54% possession. Both sides exchanged early goals, with Anas Bach opening the scoring in the 4th minute for Rabat, assisted by Abdelfettah Hadraf, before Imad Riahi equalised for Agadir in the 34th minute.
Rabat's superiority in shot quality continued into the second half, but Agadir showed resilience with Ayoub Qasmi putting them ahead in the 72nd minute. However, Rabat's persistence paid off with Youssef Elfahli levelling in the 90th minute to salvage a point. The decisive stat was Rabat's higher number of shots on target (5 to 3), which ultimately justified their late equaliser.
