Bournemouth Stun Man Utd 3-0 at Old Trafford

Manchester United Humiliated by Bournemouth at Old Trafford

Manchester United suffered one of their most humiliating Premier League defeats in recent memory as Bournemouth demolished them 3-0 at Old Trafford in matchweek 8. The Red Devils were outplayed from start to finish as the Cherries ran riot in front of a stunned home crowd.

Bournemouth Dominate Shambolic United

Right from kickoff, Bournemouth took the game to United, pressing high and creating multiple early chances. The visitors’ dominance was rewarded in the 36th minute when Dominic Solanke rose highest to power home Jason Kluivert’s cross, silencing the Old Trafford faithful.

Things went from bad to worse for United in the second half as Bournemouth doubled their lead through Philip Billing’s clinical finish in the 58th minute. The home fans grew increasingly restless as their team offered nothing in response.

Cherries Complete Rout Against Broken United

The humiliation was completed in the 82nd minute when substitute Jaidon Anthony capitalized on yet another defensive error to slot home Bournemouth’s third. United’s performance was described as ‘shambolic’ by pundits, with players booed off at full time.

This result leaves Manchester United in crisis mode, while Bournemouth celebrate one of their greatest ever Premier League victories. The Cherries move into the top half of the table, while questions will be asked about Erik ten Hag’s future after this capitulation at home.
