Trincão Torments Al-Fateh as Al-Ahli Jeddah Romp to 4-0 Win

Al-Ahli Jeddah unleashed a devastating performance to thrash Al-Fateh 4-0 in the Pro League Regular Season – 8, leaving the home fans stunned as Francisco Trincão’s brace and Ivan Toney’s strike sealed a ruthless victory.

Al-Fateh Struggle Against Relentless Al-Ahli Pressure

The first half belonged entirely to the visitors, who dominated possession and pinned Al-Fateh into their own half. Al-Ahli’s breakthrough came in the 31st minute when Trincão, the Portuguese winger, slotted home a precise finish after a swift attacking move. Al-Fateh, despite their defensive setup, failed to register a single shot on target in the opening 45 minutes as Al-Ahli’s midfield pivot of Valentin Atangana Edoa and Ziyad Al-Johani dictated the tempo.

Trincão and Toney Deliver the Knockout Blows

The second half began disastrously for Al-Fateh as Trincão struck again in the 50th minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to double Al-Ahli’s lead. The home side’s frustration boiled over as Kennedy Boateng and Marwane Saadane both picked up yellow cards in quick succession. Things went from bad to worse when Ivan Toney added a third in the 60th minute, finishing off a slick assist from Eduard Spertsyan to leave Al-Fateh utterly deflated.

Al-Johani Adds Insult to Injury

Al-Fateh’s misery was compounded in the dying moments as Ziyad Al-Johani rounded off the scoring in the 89th minute, capping off a masterclass from the visitors. The home side’s struggles were summed up by their 38% possession and just one shot on target throughout the entire match. Al-Ahli’s defensive solidity, led by Mert Demiral, ensured they kept a clean sheet despite Al-Fateh’s desperate attempts to claw their way back into the game.

What This Means Ahead

For Al-Ahli Jeddah, this emphatic victory signals their intent as serious Pro League contenders, with Trincão’s form a major boost. Al-Fateh, meanwhile, must regroup quickly after a performance that exposed both defensive frailties and a lack of attacking threat. As the Pro League season progresses, Al-Ahli will look to build on this momentum, while Al-Fateh faces an uphill battle to rediscover their form.
